PS-3520 maakt gebruik van een oplaadbaar lithiumbatterijpak met hoge capaciteit. Het instrument is uitgerust met testdraden met dubbellaagse isolatie- en afschermingslagen, en de hoogspanningsstaaf is uitgerust met vervangbare krokodillenklemmen en haken, die aan verschillende testplekken kunnen worden aangepast. Het instrument heeft een stevige dubbellaagse schaalstructuur en het beschermingsniveau van de buitenste doos van het instrument is IP65, wat het binnendringen van vocht en stof tijdens transport en opslag kan voorkomen en het instrument effectief tegen schokken kan beschermen.
